actually, that's an IROC El Camino, not a camaro. it has the nose and ground fx of an iroc. they were limited produced i think for a year or so. dont like the paint on that one, but i'd actually love to have one of these.

I love it when people rag on el caminos.
Classic malibu styling, with room to haul car parts. I fail to see the gay connection.

Okay guys, were kinda getting off topic! He asked about putting CADILLAC headlights into a CAMARO. The post wasnt about El Caminos or **** or anything else like that.
SOOOOOOOO?
Does anybody know how to put Caddillac headlights into a Camaro, or does anybody have any pics of this done, besides the one at the top?
Geeeeeeeeeezzzzzz!

I believe one of the members here on the board has the composite headlights installed on his 92. Your best bet is to try searching the readers rides for 1991 or 1992, and try to contact the owner, see if he or she will clue you in on how it's done.
Good question!! Well lets see, I dont know offhand but I know how you can find out. First find the measurements of the headlights you want to use. You can do that by either going to a junkyard and finding them (physically measuring) or you can search online. I would use google.com After you find the measurements, compare that to what we got on our 3rd gens. If the lights you want to use are smaller than the space given, then no bodymods will need to be done (cheapest best way). than all that will stand in your way is getting a wire harness and making a mounting braket. If it was done on that El, then it is possible with our cars. Sorry I wish I could actually help you out but I'm in the middle of planning my own headlight mod
I found this in the reader's rides a while back. They are headlights from a '93 Gran Prix I think. They look similar to the pic above. Personally, I think its a nice improvement.

There's a post a little down from here that was ignored about this exact subject.
Putting composite headlights in a 3rdgen isn't that hard but does take a slight bit of creativity. The composite headlight has been around for quite sometime and was used in more vehicles that the Cadillac.
The 88 Broahgnm (sp is wrong I'm sure) Caprice Classics used these lights, Celebritys (think I spelled that wrong too), most Olds cars , Chevy trucks & a few other GM vehicles I'm sure I'm not mentioning used these flat composite lights (Grand Prix had a more curved light instead of flat like what you're wanting) to replace the 4-beam system that was common to 80's cars. GM did not change the grilles to these cars when replacing the 4 lamp setup to the composite system, the composite was made to replace the 4 lamp system at minimal production cost (from an observers P.O.V.).
To adapt the composite lights to a 3rd gen wouldn't be super complex if GM was able to adapt it to damm near all of their cars w/o canging the basic design... just the mounts it connects to.
(excuse any typos)

In the pic that LeftTurn1LE posted, do those lights follow the angle of the nose? or are they vertical like stock? It's hard to tell. Looks like the ones in the first pic up at the top are similar to stock but the second ones are angled.
My favorite lights on a Camaro

The Camaro nose for the Elky was produced by the now defunct Choo Customs. They are still in businessunder I think the name of Stagecoach Customs.
BTW Elkys rock.
