ok, so i picked up an early 3rdgen glass z28 hood for a song that i'm gonna use to build my own cowl setup. it's not the greatest but i can fix it up myself. the problem is it's got about a bazillion coats of paint...

anybody used any kind of chemical stripper that is fibreglass safe? the local bodyshop supply place won't make me any promises on anything, and i'd really hate to melt the hood onto my driveway...

 

People strip paint off of Corvettes all the time. I'm sure it is possible. Make sure you get the right stuff
