Autometer Electric Fuel Pressure Not workin??

I started my car tonight for the first time with the new gauge in and it doesn't work! i turn the key on and it don't even move, i know i have all the wires hooked up. whats the deal? I've check the wires like 4 or 5 times. Is there a chance that the sender isn't working? but still shouldn't the gauge move some? i'm thinking about calling autometer and having them replace it if they will, if not i'll be very unhappy seeing as how i connected everything right and nothing works. if there is anything that i can do let me know, i'll work on it more tomorrow and this weekend

Tell us more. How did you wire everything up?

i'll see if i can do this by memory and not looking. To start, i got a 3ft braided steel hose and connected that to the sender, from the sender i ran the ground on the sender to the ground on the gauge and the sender wire to the sender wire on the gauge. I ran the power(ignition switch) to the fuse box and used a spade to hook it into the one that says IGN(been told by alot to do this). if i forgot anything let me know. doesn't that wiring sound right tho? i dont' know whats going on
