Sun shade help

I just had my sun shades recovered and when I got them back I noticed that on the passenger side the set screw is in the inside of the shade so when it's in the up postion you can't see it, but on the driver side when the shade is up you can see the set screw. The guy at the shop said that is the way they are made.I have owned this car since '92 but it's just one of those things where you see something everyday but can't remember what it looked like before.
Can anyone tell me how their shades are setup?

Mine are in the dump right now. I threw them away, all worn out.

Yeah, that s what I was going to do with mine, but I ordered headliner material from Year one and a new set of shades but the new shades wouldn't fit, so I figured I had the material in the kit I would just find someone to recover the old ones. The shop did a very nice job except the set screw on the drivers side and like I said I can't remember if it was on the inside or outside of the shade.
