ignition chime

"87 iroc......The ignition chime sounds whenever I depress the brake pedal (regardless of whether or not the key is in). Obviously, I have a short somewhere. Any ideas?

Mine started doing that, anytime the key was on it was buzzing. I just unpluged mine from under the dash.

mine started that yesterday,,whenever the key is on it buzzes,,non stop..whats up,,how can I fix it.??

Mine went off every time I went over a bump. I ripped mine out.
Its a little box under the dash. Just take the panel off and listen.
When you find it, just unplug it and throw it in the trash.
