Aftermarket Hood Question

I was thinking of buying a new fiberglass hood from ASCD. But I also came across a scoop to make my existing hood into the hood I want. My question is, which would be the better way to go to achieve a great looking hood? Are there any appearance problems on scoops installed on hoods? Does anyone have a hood that they put a scoop on with pictures of it? Thanks a lot for your help.

Fiberglass moulded onto metal tends to crack over time, and unless you blend the seams really nicely, they look like crap. I personally think it is better to go with a glass hood that is pre-molded. Leave the add on scoops to the Pro-stock and other really tall styles.

Thanks for the info. That is what I was thinking. It would of saved me a lot of money for just the scoop, but I want something that will look awesome and hold up over time. Thanks again.
