1991 RS Nose cone fascia extension thingy
Have a look at the attached photo and someone tell me what the holes underneath the "fascia extension" (apron I call it) are for. I have the factory manual but it still is not clear. I obviously have something missing and would like to replace it.
Tomorrow I will get underneath and take another one since I think other things are missing also!! lol!! Good job it's a resto!
Andy.
PS The number and position of the holes don't necessarily correspond to the number of arrows!!

there should be a curvey black plastic piece that goes there it usually aids in bottoming out . if you dont have it you might want to bolt the rest of the facia down. it is an expensive piece , you dont want to break it.
mine had the curvy thing that blots farther back and to the "apron" and there is supposed to be like a honecomb plastic piece to aid with the wind that rivets to it also to keep wind from pressing it down
I think you may be talking about the lower air baffle for the radiator. It is a plastic piece that goes under the spoiler and directs the air between the radiator and lower air dam to aid in cooling. I do not have a part number though.
IROCZ28RSSCLTSS is right. There is a 1ft long piece of reinforced plastic in the bottom of the lower spoiler to keep the shape and help prevent it from breaking. There is a also a piece of plastic down there that prevents the air coming in the front grille from going straight out the bottom of the car.

Thanks all!
I don't suppose any one has any photos of these things? Or some part diagrams?
When PurplePa$$ionz28 said "it is an expensive piece , you dont want to break it.", well, he is right, and I have! (Or someone else did before I bought it!).
Scouring scrapyards for these parts in the UK is difficult to say the least!!
Regards.
