Heater Core Made a Mess..

I didnt know where to put this...

This post is about my freinds 84 camaro, his heatercore was bad when he bought the car last year and he finally replaced it about 3 months ago. Well today after school we got in his car and it was fine we were driving around and stopped at a friends house, and when we came back out there was anti-freeze all over the pass side floor.

I think its a broken hose but could it be more? The heater core was new not used and its only 3 months old.

The carpet is no big problem, except his interior is actually kinda nice but what do you think the problem could be.

Where did you buy the heater core from? I always pressure test the cores i buy from the auto stores. Sometimes even though it's new, it's not perfect

Heh that sucks, doesn't it? The day after I bought my 91 Formula (week or two ago) I woke up and looked in my car and there was a huge puddle of green Ecto-Cooler sitting on my floor. Doh!!

its gotta be the core.. if it were a hose, the coolent would be on the ground under the car, not in the car
