Car: 1987 Camaro Z28

Engine: 5.7 HO TPI

Transmission: 700r4

switch from drum to disc brakes

I have a 87 Z28. I would like to chnge my rear brakes from a drum set up to a disc set up. Does anyone know of a cost effective kit that would enable that? Would it just be a better idea to grab a rear end off of a Iroc Z and switch the whole darn thing?

The easiest,cheapest way is to get the brakes from another 3rd gen F-body.

I have an 86 z28 and an 86 rs. The z 28 is really rusty so im gana switch the good stuff from z 28 onto the rs. I would like to switch the rear disk brakes from the z 28 to the rs. Is it as simple as just switching them or will i need to get some thing special also.

They won't switch. You'll either need to modify the axle flanges or more simply buy what you need from Ed Miller:
