Brake Conversion?

If I change my rear drums to disc brakes, is it as simple as just changing them to disc brakes or is there alot of new hardware and adjustments needed and involved?

The topic has been covered many times. You might consider a search for more thorough info. Off the top of my head: modify the axel flanges, master cylinder (I think) and proportioning valve, brake hardware, e-brake cable.

Here's what you're in for. This is for LS1 rear discs:

baer brakes also make a complete kit for rear conversion its like 800.00. all parts needed are included everything bolts right up. the brakes are then pbr 4th gen style, if you have lca relocation brackets they need to be moded to fit the e barke cable brackets. this is a box kit if you like that kind of stuff.
ebmiller has great info on other options if you like to save some money and find parts and put all together yourself. i belive his is less money but not 100% sure. i did the pbr from bear with no problmes.
