setting up manual brakes
i am in the process of building a 88 rs up and just had a question, i am going to install a t56, so i have the pedals and the master cylinder from wilwood, how do you figure out the proper ratio between the master cylinder pushrod and the pedals, if anyone has any ideas please help me out, thanks.

Here it is, direct from Wilwood (bottom of page):

I'm not sure exactly what ratio my set-up is on my car (it's been a few years since I originally set it up), but my MC pushrod is pretty much in line with the bore of the MC. With my MC mounted on an adapter plate (just below the upper two factory brake booster mounting holes), it puts the pushrod end about 1-2 inches above the factory stud on the brake pedal lever. I'm sorry that I can't give you an exact figure here, but my car is not readily available at this time, so I can't physically verify it for you.

When I first put manual in mine I used a ratio of about 5, pedal was a little hard to push so increased it to 6.5(I think that is what I ended up with--been a couple of years now). It has longer travel now but stops every bit as good as stock power. I must add that it might not be good for a light muscled person.
