Locked up rear caliper.....

I finally got around to doing the brakes on my '91 Z28 today. It's got the j65 brakes on it....so PBR rears!!! I noticed that before I put it up for the winter that the right rear was starting to grind out of no where..... I mean it happened really quickly. The left rear did nothing like it at all. Anyways, I put her away for the winter and bought up all the parts to fix the prob when the weather broke. Well.....today was the day.

I got he drivers side rear off first and there was plenty of rotor left and the pads were nearly 3/4 left. That seemed strange as the pass rear was grinding. I put the new rotor on and went to put the caliper and pads back on and they wouldn't fit. I tried using the old C clamp trick to compress them down, but they wouldnt budge. I planned on completely bleeding the brakes anyway so I opened up the bleed screw and tried to compress it again. It wouldnt budge again... My guess is a "frozen" caliper. Is there any way to fix this or rebuild it? I know these calipers are expensive and really don't want to have to buy even more for this brake fix. I read up on the LS1 and C5 brake swaps, but I am keeping this car ALL original. Any Ideas?????

PBR rebuild info

I also have rear calipers that are locked up. From what I
have read, the rear calipers are pretty simple to rebuild
and the kit is only a small amount. I have Chiltons and Haynes
manuals but none that are handy. Does anyone have any
info or pics on a PBR rebuild.
Thanks
Shawn

Pistons on the rear calipers screw in, you can't press them in with a clamp.

That would explain my troubles....
I actually took them to a local business called Mid-Illinois Caliper and they rebuilt them for me for darn near the price of parts to do it. It was WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY cheaper than buying rebuilt calipers at the part store and getting a core back for mine.
