THose with 98+ Rear end/brakes come in..
Im installing the brakes on my 4th gen rear end and i've hit a snag.
According to the Haynes manual, the wear indicator is supposed to be on the bottom of outer pad...but that MFer would not go in that way.
It slides in perfectly if i place it in the inner position and it goes on top (which is exactly the opposite of in the manual).
Anyone have a similar problem...or better yet pics of how their pads are installed...Thanks.

I always put the wear indicator at the top of the inner pad. I've always been taught it needs to be on the trailing edge of the rotor.

Its just disconcerting because the Haynes manual says bottom outer.
