How do you remove the plunger rod from the booster?
(rod between the pedal and the booster)

If you're talking about the rod attached to the brake pedal, there's a small clip holding them together. You'll have to spread the clip slightly with a small screwdriver to get it to slide off.

Yes thats the rod, I got it off the pedal and the booster is out of the car. What I need to know is how to get the rod out of the booster.

Just to show you people are looking at your thread. I never thought about taking it out. May I ask why you would want to? I actually have 2 laying around my garage, i'll try and check it out tonight when i get home from work.

I think you have to take the booster apart to get that rod out.
If you were talking about the rod that the booster uses to push on the master cylinder piston, things would be a lot easier. There's nothing holding that rod in.

I need it out so I can make it adjustable and it would be alot easier if I could remove it from the booster.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to take it apart. How do you get it apart if I have to?
