Brakes still not right - now what?

I have a 92 camaro with front disk and rear drums. Recently under under hard braking only the right front locks and the car pulls to that side but under normal brking conditions the car stops straight and normal

About a year ago the the following parts were replaced
Master cylinder
Rear drums, shoes, hardware and hose
Front pads, calipers and hoses

Last week replaced the front rotors and wheel bearings.

The front suspension was rebuilt about a year ago with new ball joints, struts, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, sway bar end links and a wonderbar. The rear received new shocks and traction bar. The car was also aligned.

I tried swapping the pads from one side to the other but it made no difference.

Could there be a hydraulic pressure problem?
I am out of ideas and fustrated.

after all that work I'm sure you thought about it, but I didn't see any mention of bleeding the system. The fluid may also be contaminated, and I forget the name of the block thingie underneath the master cylinder, that might have something tro do with it!

I neglected to mention that I had bleed out all the old fluid. It agree it might be the combo/proportioning valve but I don't know how one would test it. Maybe a presure guage?

Did you Bench Bleed the Master Cylinder?
Did you bleed your brakes the "propper" way?

To propperly bleed your brakes, connect a small tube that fits snugly over your bleeder screw valve. The hose only has to be a foot long. Submerge the other end of that hose in brake fluid when you bleed the brakes. This assures you that NO air is getting back into the system via tightening that bleed screw back up.

I am betting on that the air in the system is coming from the left front brake line (not trying to be capt. obvious). Re-bleed it! Also, Make sure you keep fluid in the MC because if it runs out and you just add more in it, that can cause your problem. Good Luck.

drop the air thing..... if there was air in the brake lines the pedal would be spongy, which you didnt metion it was. The proportioning valve controls the pressure going to the brakes under HARD braking so since you say there is a problem under hard braking it is definitely the proportioning valve

hope it helps

Took the two year old lifetime warranty caliper assemblies back to o'reilleys and got some new ones. Blew out the front brake lines, installed the calipers and bleed the system. Brakes have a better feel and stop better now. Hope this set of caliper assembles lasts more than 2 years.
