Transmission: T5 untill it blows up from to much torque
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" /w auburn pro & 3.89's
No, there is definetely no difference. Just make sure your front lines are hooked up to the bigger part of the MC. I needed a new MC for my `92 Drum rear camaro. When i went to buy a new MC, there wasn't a difference. That is how I know.

Just found out that prior to 1990 thirdgen's, they are different.

What part numbers are you guys going by? I have looked up both the 89 and 91 MC and found that the part numbers are the exact same for each year. I must be missing something. Are there 2 different MC's for the drum and disc rear ends?
