drum to disc rear

drum to disc rear

My auto parts guy said i can use the same proportion valve as the drum rear on my disc. Is he correct or is he blowing me off.

Sure you can use the drum prop. valve on the disc rear, but you are going to have problems like premature wear and poor braking charateristics.

So I think he was either blowing you off or just had no idea what he was talking about.

To do the job right you need to swap it. You could get away with the stocker but I doubt it's matched to the brakes you have.
