Front Brake Hose Clips

I have a 1982 camaro i am replacing the front brake hoses, when I put the clips on the bottom bracket by the strut they are loose not tight like the upper. Whats the deal. Any ideas please let me know. I am anxious to drive my car its been awhile.

Thanks,

Justin

It's just loose from being take off and put back on a few times. Take a pair of pliers, and bend the clip a little more where it's already bent. Should be tight again.

You just don't have it in right, you have to catch both the brake line and the bracket at once. Look at your rear brake line clip to be sure you have it on right.

The clips can only go on one way i also have an 86 iroc to make sure i was putting them on correctly. they go on they are just loose on the bracket attached to the strut. The top clips are fine nice and tight.

Thanks,

Justin

Not to change the subject, but where would one get a new set of clips for brake lines (both hard and soft)? A/Z and napa don't seem to have them...

Any ideas?
