brake pipe size (rear)

I need to install brake lines on my Moser 12 bolt. What O.D. piper do I need to buy? Anyone know what stock is? That is what I want to go out and get.

Thanks

3/16" or 1/4" IIRC, go to Napa and look at their preflared lines and they will give you an idea.

Does it make a world of difference if I go with the 3/16's or 1/4? That last 1/16 really gonna do anything?

i am in the proccess of building the entire car, so I can go with whatever lines for the front too. They stock ones look fine, but if it is benefitial to change them for a different size I will. Any benifits there?

At first glance I would say that the bigger lines seem better. only because there is more fluid and it would be harder for the fluid to get hot in there. Plus they would be a tiny bit stonger.

Please fill me in with any info on the matter. Thanks again.

You won't notice a thing in the difference in the 2 sizes you listed. Hydrualic fluid does not compress easily but still will slightly if the lines got too large like a 6AN size, but 3 an or 4an is virtually no difference and the advantages you claim are true.
