And do i have to have ebrake cable right away when i put the disk rearend in, or can i order them and put them in later

You will need new e-brake cables. I ordered a pair from the local Advance Auto Parts store and got them in a few days and for like $30.
Not having the brake cables will not effect driving the car, just parking the car if you have a manual trans.

thanks for the reply, i have an automatic so ill probably go ahead and put the rear axle on and install the cables later. I looked at the cable and i didnt really see a way to get them off because where they hook to the brake there is a spring and they dont unhook so how do you get them off. Thats probably why someone cut the brake cables in the first place
