Questions about brake lines (for custom work)

I have some questions about brake lines. Not so much about the lines that connect to the calipers, but the lines that run under the car. From what I see they are all hardlines. I will soon be re-doing the entire setup on my IROC-Z drift car and there are a few custom things I want to try. Some of these things require that I run new lines and I want to make sure I do it the right way. First thing I'm gonna do is a staging brake that will be in-line between the proportioning valve and the rear calipers (equivalent of a hydro handbrake but does not require a second caliper and does not interfere with the stock e-brake for parking). It will need to be mounted in the center console so I will need to re-run the brake lines up into the cabin. The second thing I'm going to do is the Willwood lever adjustable proportioning valve, but the tricky part is I want to run it in the cabin so I can adjust it without getting out of the car. So I'm guessing I will have to run hardlines for all this re-routing? I have a mini tube bender that I could use but I want to see if there are other options. I guess I would need a flaring tool too? Another question I have is about relocating the proportioning valve like I want to, I'm wondering if this will mess anything up (being further away from the master cylinder and all). Thanks for any help, appreciate it ...

I'd reason that you could always use lengths of braided flex line and run the lines as you like. Earl's and Goodridge can both make custom length lines so maybe you should go that route.

Best to avoid having too much braided hose.

Having the prop valve away from the master cylinder is not a problem.
