ls1 brake converson

Car: 1985 Iroc Z
Engine: 383 carbed
Transmission: Th 400 tci super street
Axle/Gears: 3:42 9 Bolt
ls1 brake converson
i just wrecked my 98 v6 camaro so now i can upgrade the brakes on my 85. it started out with a drum rear.. now has a 9bolt disc rear that hasnt been modified to work yet.. wat do i have to do to make my ls1 brake works on my 85? any help would be greatly apperciated..

The fronts are a go, it's been done for a while. You just need the LS1 conversion parts. As for the rears, I don't think anyone has installed LS1s on a 9 bolt rear, the bolt patterns are different and the LS1 backing plates would need major reworking to fit them on. I'd go with the LT1/1LEs on the rear.
