Master Cylinder?

I have an 89 formula 350 and the master cylinder is going out. I want to replace it with some sort of after market performce master cylinder that is cheaper than going to the dealer. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Auto parts store. Any. Anything from Auto Zone, CSK, Advanced, etc; to NAPA, CarQuest, Parts Inc, etc. etc. etc. EVERY parts store stocks it, or can get it quick.

NOBODY gets stuff like that at the dealer. That's just not one of the things that's appropriate for a dealer item.

This is not rocket science. It's basic car maintenance.

There's no such thing as a "performance" MC, without making other changes to the brake system. The MC is sized and designed to move the right amount of fluid, produce the correct pressure, bolt up to the car's brake lines, hook up to the power brake booster, etc. Just go get the right thing and be done with it, and stay alive, and help all the rest of us in the roads to stay alive too. Just do it right.

What more help is there?

Thanks

All I really wanted to know was if there is a better quality master cylinder for my car. If you are so pissed off why even go around answer questions. I though the whole point of this tech board was to answer question. By the way go have your BP check.
