brake hose problem..WTF?????

so my brake are not working on the front passenger side. i changed the pads and the caliper but it appears that little to no fluid is coming out of the brake line. i disconnected the hose from the caliper and tried to find out what was going on but i have no clue, when i pump the brakes harly any fluid comes out. could it just be a problem with the rubber brake line that connects to the caliper or something worse?
thanks

Brake lines corrode from the inside, replace the lines on both sides. If one is bad, you can bet the other one is too.
