Old rubber-->New SS lines
The breaks on my old 85 Z28 feel fairly solid but I all ways want more.
I'm starting my front end rebuild tomorrow and the braided SS break lines are going on then.
We are just doing inner and outer tie rods and motor, trans, TA mounts, sway frount bar links and frount sway bar bushings.
All replacement bushings are Energy and Moog Polyurethane.
How big of a difference is there with SS lines over rubber?
What thoughts do you guys have on the rubber to SS swap or just SS lines in general?
I bought the DOT, street legal SS lines from summit.
The breaks are getting worn down a bit I have disks/drums.
What are some good pads?
I will replace the rotors and calipers just not sure what pads to get, to many choices.
Want pads the complement the calipers and sloted stock size rotors.

I just swapped some Earl's stainless steel brake lines onto one of our T/As, and I didn't notice a HUGE difference, but I did feel a little bit of improvement. On my quads they made a huge difference, but with cars I'm not so sure. I needed to replace the lines anyways, so I just opted to go with the stainless steel ones.
As far as pads go for the stock brake setup, I would just use brake pads from Napa, as they usually have good stuff.
