rear caliper help

i everyone.
i need some help with my (my car) rear brakes.
it seems that rear brakes are not working so i decided to get in there.
i disassembled the calipers and noiced that the e-brake regulator is not working. Brake pads are always far from rotor. Ive searched for information but the solution is always buying the recall kit.
here is very difficult to get new parts so i have to import them what is very expensive and takes too much time.
does anyone know how to rebuid the calipers with the same parts??
can i regulate the brake by hand??
it woul be great if someone send me a copy of the shop manual. some digrams or pictures may help as well.
another thing is that front brakes are making a lot of heat and burning pads but not stopping the car. Is there some special pads that i have to use??
finally, i realized that front calipers are the same that S10 pickup. pads are identical but the s10 stops great and the iroc nothing. i know that rear pads are the same in some daewoo cars but i dont know if the calipers are similar.

that is
thanks a lot for you help

The e-brake mechanism is your problem, it must be either rebuilt as is or with the recall kit. I suggest the recall kit and will be happy to work with you to get one, I have one in the shop brand new. I'll check my manual and see what is involved in the rebuild of the stock caliper design and post what I find.
