lt1 rear with ls1 brakes. do I need axles??
Ok so theres a guy on the camaroz28 board that is pretty adament about needing to swap the lt1 rear axles out to ls1 axles in order to run ls1 rear brakes. can anyone confirm this? also from what he said it has to do with the emergency brake hardware. thanks

e-brake has nothing to do with the axles.
You may have to shim the caliper a bit since we had a little rubbing when we put LT1 brakes on an LS1 rear.
here is the LS1 brakes on an LT1 rear with LT1 axles,

I knew that guy didnt know what he was talking about. he said that the LS1 axles are a little biggger and there weas no way to run them with lt1 axles. when you say you had to shim it, what did you use for shims and where did you apply them. thanks
