What Rear Brakes To get??

Went for inspection today and they told me i needed rear brakes. I have drums btw. My dad used to be a mechanic at a Chevy/Pontiac dealer and still has a friend who works there so if we decide to go the AC Delco rout, we can get a pretty good deal (About 15-25% off). I was just wondering if there were any other rear brakes that would work with my drum setup that are of similar costs to the ACDelcos, but better. Any opinions would be greatly appriciated!

A great, reliable, and proven setup is the LT1/1LE rear setup. It'll run you around $700-800 for the whole setup but maybe a bit more through GM. My rear kit is $775 but I include Earl's braided lines and new axle hard lines as well, and all hardware to install it.
