ls1 e-brake cables
Hey gang, I installed a ford 9 rear in my 89 iroc with 2002 trans am ls1 rear brakes. Has anyone figured out what to do for e-brake cables. My 89 came with a 9 bolt borg warner rear which I have put in my 92 purple haze z28 and I used the 9 bolt cables with it since they would not fit the ls1 set-up. By the way I got the 9 ford housing and adjustable kit from autoweldchassis.com They make great stuff. Any help on the e-brake cables will be greatly appreciated since that is one of the last things I have to fix.

I followed the advice on these threads:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/brak...backing+plates
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/brak...APA+cables+LS1
and flipped the backing plates side-side. Just cut the cable supports so they bolt on
the opposite side LCA brakets, and used latemodel PBR ebrake cables from NAPA.
(p/n 94264, have to ream the slots on them slightly)
