Corvette C5 front brakes and IROC replica rims?

I hope you guys can help becuase I'll be ordering all these parts in one container (as I live in the UK) and I can't afford to get it wrong and have to send stuff back...

I'm looking to upgrade my front brakes using a kit from bigbrakeupgrade.com

At the same time I will be replacing the shocks and springs AND the wheels to 17" or 18" IROC replicas (which I believe only come in an 8" width sadly).

<EDIT: I AM WILLING TO CONSIDER Z06 REPLICA RIMS>

So

1) If I upgrade my front brakes using one of the kits from the website above, what offset & backspacing wheel do I need on 8" IROC replicas (OR 8.5" OR 9" Z06 REPLICAS)?
2) Do I need to use spacers at the front in conjunction with those rims and brakes?
3) Will those brakes even fit behind IROC replicas (OR Z06 REPLICAS)?

It's real puzzling.
I want the larger IROC replicas (or LARGER, WIDER Z06 REPLICAS), uprated front brakes and lowered suspension (with the car sitting level as opposed to its *** in the air).

Can anyone help???

And there doesn't seem to be a simple answer to this one unless I'm missing something...

yes you will need spacers for the ZO6 rims.
do a search but I think they are 1.25" front 2" rear.

using z06 wheels, you will need 2" spacer up front and rear, dont know about iroc replicas. i have c5 wheels with lowered springs and will do the brake upgrade in two weeks

I purchased a set of z06 replicas, they are 18x9 and 18x10.5. In my research you will need to run 2" spacers all around. Some members wish they went a tad bit smaller on the spacers. I have a 4th gen rear going in so I don't need them in the back. I plan on using 1.75" spacers up front.

I am in the process of a c5/z06 brake conversion as we speak. I already got the fronts bolted up. I don't know much about the quality of work from BigBrakeUpgrade.com as I went with our very own Ed Miller for parts such as modified spindles, brackets, hoses, and hubs. His quality was outstanding and overall a pleasure to work with. If you go with the z06 rims or 17"+ Irocs I would look into the front C5/Z06 brake conversion. The LS1 is very similar but price is so close I went with the C5s. Plus I ordered them through gmpartsdirect.com for a fraction of what everyone else was selling. Shipping there is the killer though.

If you want the part numbers for my front C5 swap let me know. I have a list on the computer somewhere.

Yuel: What suspension setup are you running on your car?
It's one of the few I've seen that sit level and at the perfect ride height!
Also, what width, backspacing and offset are those wheels?

The lack of width means that I'll probably have to go with the Z06 replicas instead of the IROC replicas.
It's a pain as I love the IROC wheels (specifically the 88 ones I have) but I need more tyre width for better grip and the right stance. For the love of god why does no-one make 17 and 18 inch IROC replicas that are wider than stock?!?!

It's good to know that the brakes clear the Z06 replicas spokes.

spartyon: What offset and backspacing did you get on your Z06 wheels?

The c5/z06 wheels are designed to clear the c5/z06 brake setup from factory. I am using factory spec'd rims. I don't know what the offsets and backspacing is from factory but that is what I ordered. I will have to check when I get home from work.

HardRockCamaro, my suspension is pretty stock, i just have the lowering springs about 1.5", i am using a 4th gen axle and 2" spacers up front. so if you get the basic 4th gen wheels or corvette wheels, then you will need 2" spacers all around, unless you use 4th gen axle. i dont know the know the backspacing. i tried 1.25" spacer up front and it wouldnt work. my wheels are 17" up front and 18" rear
