that is correct, the setup in the pic was for a g-body, but it was still a direct swap. the only thing I can see that might be an issue is wheel clearance. the front of the caliper sticks out past the hub face 2". make sure your wheel has enough depth for it.

So would the brakes clear if using C6R wheels? Those would definatly look bad behind a set of nice rims, might have to skip the C5 conversion for them!

I am pretty sure thet you need at least a 17" to clear the c5 setup, try a search, there are plenty of threads on that swap.

Those look like fun.
17's at least for the c5 brakes and even then, some of them don't work depending on offset.

Geez,
Just looking at those pics makes me feel small and inadequate just like my only car left with stock 10.5 inch brakes.
lol
Hope the price drops on them bad boys a little more and now we're talking.

The C5s need at least 17"s, the C6 setup will need a bit more, I expect at least an 18" wheel for those. A good rule of thumb is a wheel that is 3" larger in diameter than your rotor but isn't exactly true in this case.

SOME 17" WHEELS WILL WORK WITH THE PROPER SPACER. MOST 18" WHEELS WILL CLEAR THE CALIPER BUT SOME WILL REQUIRE A SPACER.

I have tried to fit a SLP 3rd gen ZR-1 wheel, the caliper hit the step on the inside of the wheel. there is a step right in the middle of the wheel for mounting the tire. there was about 3/4" to 1" of clearance between the rotor and wheel.
