Brake squeal/squeak
What can cause the front right brakes to STILL squeal and squeak?
New ceramic pads
New rotors
New wheel bearings
New front brake hoses
New calipers
And i have personally lubed all the slides/shims correctly. And done it more then once...
It only squeals from the RIGHT FRONT.
Im stumped...bring on the opinions

have the pads and rotor honed, worked for my friend. Mines doing the same thing and ive changed everything too. He takes like a pad with little rods sticking out and the rods have little ***** at the end and he goes over everthing. Try it, worth a shot.

well my friends got a shop, i looked at my work (advance auto) but what we had to hone brakes was nothing like what he had, try taking it to a shop and ask them about it

and yea i believe it takes a thin layer off, if there are any imperfects like glazing or whatever

resurfacing the brake rotors and pads can work occasionally but if you already have ceramic pads with the proper shims you may have another issue. How thick is the rotor? is it too thin causing the brakes to overheat and glaze or is it a cheaper rotor and doesn't have the proper cooling vanes. You might be surprized but different rotors can have odd vane patterns to alleviate noise.
Are your rear brakes out of adjustment again causing the front brakes to overheat and cause the rotor to glaze?

I SOMETIMES SQUEAL, LATE AT NIGHT
Remove the pads and coat the metal side
of the pads with anti-squeal compound.
Happy Racing!
If people drove any slower
they’d be going backwards.

What brand of ceramics are you using? I sell Raybestos, and they make two grades of ceramic....the Quiet-Stop,
which is allegedly their premium product, and an economy ceramic, which is by far a better pad. I sell 90% to
wholesale customers, and have had only one bad report on the economies, but almost every 'premium' set squeal.
I run Hawk ceramics myself with my C-5 conversion, and am 100% satisfied-yes, they were expensive, but no
dust at all, and very quiet.
