caliper bolts replacement

caliper bolts replacement

does anyone know were i can buy replacement bolts for the caliper. mine look like they car being striped and rounded off. i hope I can get them off one last time to replace them.

does anyone know were i can buy replacement bolts for the caliper
Ummm, not sure.... auto parts store maybe?

Last time I had to replace those (my wife's Caddy, a couple of weeks ago), I picked up a set at VatoZone. Like $8 for the bolts and bushings.

Basically the same situation: their internal Torx was completely sodomized. I just took a 15" pipe wrench to the outer diameter of the bolt heads. Popped them RIGHT OUT, didn't take 10 seconds to break em loose.

Get yourself a 3/8" allen wrench thing for your ratchet, it's alot quicker and easier to work on those with that, than to use a hex key. And put a bit of anti-sieze on the bolt threads.
