Axle/Gears: 10 bolt Posi 3.73

Part identification

My uncle gave me this soleniod, or what he thinks it is. It has three threaded holes. I've done a search and couldn't find anything on it. I do know that Kysor makes parts for trucks or something. Could this be used as a line lock? Anyone know off hand? Thanks
