Question on rebuild of rear pbr calipers

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 9 bolt BW with all the attached parts.
After disassembly of the pbr rear brake calipers I found the inside of the piston bore being scratched, the piston itself is scratched too.
The caliper is not leaking, the seals are ok.

My question is: is it better to rebuild the calipers with new pistons and seals or to buy (new) remanufactured ones?

Thanks in advance

P.S. Does someone have pictures of original pbr rear brakes, where the color of the brake parts and the plating of the brackets are visible?

JamesC,

thanks for the link. It seems that most of the parts were painted afterwards.
I'm interested in the surface condition of the following parts when they were new from the factory:

As far as I can see thes parts were not painted from the factory, they look like chromated or zink plated ... I'm not sure...

Can someone confirm?

The e-brake brackets are zinc coated, the e-brake lever is a dark plated color. I replate both of them zinc and they look great. As for the scratches, I'd use those calipers as cores and get another set...the scratches aren't a good thing.
