HELP! P*SSED OFF LT1 Rear E-brake
I installed a LT1 PBR disc rear into my 91 RS drum car and someone on this wonderful site said to get two Raybestos BC94597 cables for my application.
Well there too long and dont fit the caliper right. Could someone PLEASE give me the part number I do need.

That is the correct P/N for your '91 year car..do you have the adjustable cable in the trans tunnel? Can you describe the problem and how it's not hooking up right?

The internal cables is just to long. I saw the picture of the way your T-Bar in your tranny tunnel is and mine looks nothing like that.

i thought it was 91 Z28 disk brake car Ebrake cables for the LT1 disks? the first design as there are two designs. because 91-92 Z28 cars with disk brakes used the same style rear disk brakes as the LT1 cars...they are the aluminum PBR stuff

Dunno I am gonna look again tommorow maybe I am stupid but if not then I am gonna exchange for the shorter one and be sure to take lots of pics. Also they would not fit over the axle.

I used cables from CarQuest (P/N BRK 8788, 1st design, 1434 mm). I had to use a Dremel to slightly enlarge the retangular slot on the caliper end of the cable to make it fit the parking brake lever. Two minutes work.
