A few things learned
Just a few things I learned while doing a whole brake job for the first time..
1. A very small space heater in the garage when it's 22 degrees outside doesn't help very much
2. Chilton and Haynes manuals are overviews of how to do stuff and by no means are they complete, ie when step 1 says remove something, that step 1 may involve 15 other steps before you get to step 2
3. If you have a set of sockets and such but are missing a one in the set, it is very likely that something you are about to take off will require that socket
4. Brake fluid burns on open cuts
5. The person who invented wheel cylinder retainers should be beaten severely
6. Despite their quiet demeanor drum brakes are some form of punishment for misdeeds in life when you try to rebuild them
7. When you get finished at 1 am and everyone is asleep, it's really hard to bleed the brakes and test it out to see what you screwed up...
Ok thats it just needed to get that out there.
