I bought a Strange rear. Ordered c6 Z rear brakes to go with it. Ill have to fab a bracket to mount them on.

Lots of people use rear 4th gen brakes on those. Seems to be the cheapest rear discs kit.

Spike, I did the same thing you're about to. I ordered a 82-92 Fbod 12 bolt Strange rear to use my stock 1LE rear brakes. What I got was a 82-92 12 bolt Fbod rear without any caliper mounting brackets on it. Then when I went to order brackets for my brakes I was told they were going to fit!! I ended up having to buy the brackets from strange and new rear bearings because the bracket has to go on the axle BEFORE the bearing and retainer cap is pressed on. SO, in addtion to shelling out the cash for the rear end I had to spend an addtional 200-300 bux for bearings, brackets and a set of 93-97 rear LT1 brakes. Just ask all the questions you can think of before you order your rear, don't assume ANYTHING.

Spike, save yourself a couple clams and order the bracket to be installed from Strange and not after you receive it. If you install the brackets after the fact you'll have to have the bearings and retaining caps pressed off...which sometimes ruins them and then buy new ones just to have to pay to have the pressed back on (I speak from experience )
