How to adjust rear disc E-Brake?

How to adjust rear disc E-Brake?
I rescently installed new e-brake cable on my 85 camaro z28 with stock disc brakes in the rear. One cable had little slack and the other had alot how to you adjust the e-brake on these cars?

Underneath car in center rear above driveshaft is where the cables connect. A single nut on threaded rod is used to tighten up slack in cables. Tighten until the e-brake lever(part with the weights on it) on the caliper just starts to move off the stop on the caliper. Then use emergency brake every time you park car. Constant use of e-brake keeps the rotating assy. in the caliper adjused and free.Badman

No, I have seen some aftermarket cables that are a little too long or too short! Did you compare the old ones to the new ones? If they are not the same as the originals it may be causing the slack on the one side. Also check and make sure the new cable ends are in the adjuster catch and make sure the cables are riding in the guides under the car.Badman
