'89 RS w/drum converting to disc rear (non PBR)

I am at the point of information overload, I have just read about every article in the search critearia.
I am confused now, I have a '89 RS w/rear drum, I came into possesion of a disc rear from a pre '89 era 3rd. gen. it is a 10 bolt, has an auburn diff, 373 gears, moser axels, new rotors and new pads. I heard some of the down falls of the iron caliper rears but this is what I have.
1st will the proportion mod work? or do I get the 1LE proportion valve? or 3rd. run the Wilwood adjustible inline with my o/e? if I do the 3rd option what thread size nuts do I look for so the wilwood one to work properly?
I really want to put this on.
according to the door production date is 1/89
HELP!

you will need to change the proportioning valve to one off a third gen with 4 wheel disc

shouldn't matter. personally i would get one for the year of the car you have so you know it will be a direct bolt on.

Yes. The thread sizes are different. IIRC, they changed in 89. By the way, many people complain about the iron calipers, but mine functioned well (with the use of the e-brake). The swap to PBR's, however, is simple:
