swapping 9bolt disc to drum 10 bolt?

I recently aquired another 9bolt disc rearend and really don`t want to spend the money to get 3.73 gears put in when they are 400+ for the gear alone. And i already have 3.73 posi now in my 10 bolt. So has anyone swapped the 9 bolt brakes to there disc drum 10 bolt and been sucsessful?

The disc brakes on a 9-bolt are the same as the same year 10-bolt, so they will bolt on (except the backing plates are different). However, you're converting from drums to discs so its a bit tricky. There is either a tech article or a forum post on how to convert drums to discs, so a little searching will find it.
