Sticking left rear caliper
Just swapped my drum axle for a 9 bolt posi disc. Haven't gotten around to redoing prop valve yet, but the left rear caliper isn't releasing completely. Apparently a bad hose can cause this problem but that side doesn't use a hose. I thought it might be the e-brake but the problem got significantly worse after I bled the lines (i.e., unrelated to the e-brake). The caliper is causing enough friction to smoke considerably after a short (couple of blocks) drive. Autozone want $65 per caliper, before I throw another $120 at this, any ideas as to what might cause that kind of problem? Thanks!

if the line is not blocked then the caliper is sticking and a rebuild kit must be used. They are cheap if you do it yourself, or you can buy the lifetime warranty ones like I did a long time ago.

my left rear did that once.. the was soo much friction that it was smoking the tire on the rim.. and burnt all the paint off the rotor.. after a good bleed, it works like a charm..
