pbr disc brakes

can you run pbr disc brakes off a drum proportioning valve?

No you need to get a proportioning valve off a disc set up , for it to be set up properly. Some people have used the drum valve and used an optional adjustable valve to compensate. I bought my valve off of ebay for 6.08 including shipping . Just make sure to get one off same generation. With yours being a 89 I would say to go with 84 and newer to make sure you get the right metric bubble fittings on the valve.
