V6 > V8 Brakes
My 92 3.1 V6 bird needs new front brakes (including new calipers, rotors, and pads)
So I was wondering if it would be easy if not any different to go ahead and put some stock V8 calipers, rotors and pads on instead...
I searched but couldn't find anything

Re: V6 > V8 Brakes
The 82-92 F-bodies all have the exact same front brakes, regardless of engines. (Unless you have the '89-92 1LE package with the larger brakes, of course.)
So yes, you can put stock V8 front brakes on your car, as they are the exact same as what you have now.

Re: V6 > V8 Brakes
yeah and rear axles and everythnig else is the same too
pretyt much the only real component difference related to engine difference would be springs/struts and their rates
im not sure why ppl think brakes and axles and such differ depending on the engine
i love it when ppl call and axle a 6 cylinder axle or a v-8 axle
amusing stuff...
good luck
