Problem with baer rear brake install

This website has always saved my butt in numerous occasions regarding issues with my 1984 z28 and hopefully can do the same again. I just finished putting a complete (fr & rr) brake kit on my car, but I'm now desperately needing to know if my stock (front discs, rear drums) master cylinder and proportion valve can safely be used on the new 4 wheel disc upgrade? I'm confused with some of the other threads, and so far I'm thinking maybe all I need is a new proportion valve, then again maybe my stock setup is the way to go. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Carlos
