85 camaro

i swapped my stock 85 drum rear end for one out of a 87 with posi and disc brakes .since doing this my brake pedal is soft.every time i want to stop i have to do one pump of the pedal then all is good. i have bled my brakes no air in lines.should i change the portioning valve with the one out of the 87? thx

Did you hook up the e-brake and is it working? When I had siezed adjusters on the rear calipers and disconnected the e-brake cable, I had the same thing happen.
