91 Brake Swap

I have a 91 rs that currently has a front disc rear drum setup on it, I am seriosly thinking about putting a 4th gen disc brake rear axel, and I have a few questions. What all else would I need to make the rear brakes work?are the internal gears interchangeable?would I be able to use the stock wheels on the rear?if I have to put 4th gen wheels on it would the 4th gen front wheels bolt onto the stock third gen disc brakes, if not what kind of front brake upgrade should/can I do to make them work?I would also like to use more swapped parts from rather than from high end after market companies?(I having nothing against any of these companies, but my wallet does)

Re: 91 Brake Swap

Take the whole 4th gen rear and it bolts right in. Yes the 4th gen wheels fit the rear perfectly, no the stock one's stick out to far and rubed. Spacers are needed for the front 2"-2.25", to run 4th gen's. I have 2.25" for mine. You also need to get an adjustable proprtining valve, or a stock 3rd gen disk/disk prop valve.

this is where i got mine there cheap, good, and very fast delivery like two days i think it was

Re: 91 Brake Swap

I got a 1LE prop valve and a 4th gen master cyl. to do my 4th gen rear swap! I also have aftermarket ZR1 rims that required a 2.25" spacer for the fronts.
