I use Ceramic pads and have no or very little dust...

I don't have any real brake dust issues. I am looking at possibly cleaning up the look of the wheel well area since my caliplers aren't really detailed out. I don't want to buy them if there are a lot drawbacks.

drawbacks? What sort of drawbacks? I never had problems when I used 'em with my stock 15" rims and my 91 Z28 rims. They kept the rims clean and weren't even that noticable. I know lots of people think they're lame, but nice clean rims with dirty stock brakes aren't the coolest either. If your rims are clean and the shields aren't glossy, (I painted mine flat black) you won't notice 'em.
