Braker won't let go sometimes?.... Bad booster?

I just installed new C5 Z06 brakes. I have braided lines from a few years ago. And all my brake lines are new and well bled. I have a new MC and an old 91 booster (original). I have a new booster at home. Could my booster be making this problem? bad booster? Do I maybe have a bad MC? It is new, but I have herd that sometimes you can get a bad one.

What other MC can I get that are a direct bolt in? 4th gen? Do they use the same brake line fittings? Thanks.

Really wanna get this figured out

My theory is that it must be a bad booster, since when I keep the car in 5th (it has a T-56) and build more vacuum it seems to happen less. My car only makes about 9" at idle, but I do have a vacuum reservoir.

Thanks for any help.

Was not the booster. Or the MC, or the calipers, or the lines, or air.

WHAT THE HELL is the problem!!!!!

Did your car ever have this problem before the C5 swap? A booster needs at least 14" to operate and a canister only limits the vacuum pulses at idle, it doesn't build vacuum just makes it more consistent. If this problem only appeared after the caliper swap, I'd disassemble them and make sure the seals aren't bad (sticky, attached to the pistons, etc.) which can happen from just sitting for awhile...

Yes the problem happened before the C5 swap. The calipers are essentially brand new. I know I need more vacume, but don't know what to do. I really didn't want to have to use a pump, but maybe thats what i need.

I might just get it on the road and driving OK, till winter and then swap cams over the winter and intake. That will make more vacume and not need the pump.
