brake question

brake question

my 88 rs has stock brakes all around and i want to upgrade.. right now im worried about the front b/c of what i read the only way to upgraded the rears is to do a 4th gen rear end swap for disk,rihgt? but is there anyone out there that makes a kit for our 3rd gens or like anything other rotors that fit? also i would like 4 piston calipers??? any info will help i just need to upgrade my brakes for more stoppin power...

I'm not sure what you read or where, but upgrading the fronts is relatively simply, so are the rears--and no, you don't have to swap in a fourthgen rear. Four-piston is probably overkill. If you have drums, Ed Miller makes a conversion kit.

Here's a link that will provide info about a front and rear upgrade (from 10.5" rotors and single-piston iron calipers to 11.7" with alum dual piston fronts and single piston rears (the 1LE set-up):

thank you for the info.. i didnt know that 4 piston was alot the only thing on cars im not used to is brakes i try to stay away from them
